A solar pool cover is a light weight bubble wrap- like cover that spreads over the top of your pool and floats on top of the water.
This cover works two ways to heat. First the darker color of the cover itself helps to attract sunlight to your pool, heating the water beneath. The other way it works is when your pool gains all this new warmth, usually at night when it’s cooler that heat escapes. By keeping your solar cover on during the night, this helps your pool retain the heat that it has collected throughout the day.
