Saving With Solar Christmas Lights

What would Christmas be growing up without the blinking light displays that light up just about every home this time of year?
One way to save on the cost of these displays of lights is to use Solar Christmas Lights in place of the more common plug in type.

Most of the newer solar lights now days use the newer led bulbs which are more energy efficient, brighter, and come in many colors. They have a very bright and clear light which would be hard to tell apart from a standard miniature Christmas light bulb, until your electric bill comes due.

With these lights being solar powered the do not plug in so there is no expense at all to using them, just the initial cost when they are purchased.

Installation of these lights are not really any different than installing your regular Christmas lights, or maybe not. Because they are solar powered you don’t have to mess with running long extension cords all over your yard to plug in the lights. And if you want lights out farther than you would like to string an extension cord, no problem, truly portable lights. And how safe is it to run these cords out through the snow, if you get a warm day they could be sitting in a puddle of water, and that wouldn’t be safe.

solar Christmas lights come in all the same types as regular Christmas lights, from the standard string of lights to the rope of lights and the net of lights, to the more specialized types such as the lights shaped like creatures, reindeer, and even Santa, or nativity scenes which may use a solar spot light.

So if you want to save energy(and in turn some cash)this holiday season without having to sacrifice the joyous holiday decorations, solar lights just might be what you are looking for.
